Johnny Ray Berry, 55, Elizabethton, beloved son, brother and father passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the Select Specialty Hospital, Bristol. He was a Carter County native. In earlier years he had been employed as a mover. He loved to build model cars.
Survivors include Two Daughters: Amanda Berry and Beth Serrano, both of Lakewood, Ohio. His father: Troy Berry, Elizabethton. His Mother: Fern Gentry, Elizabethton. Two Brothers: Timothy and Curtis Berry. Four Grandchildren. Several aunts, uncles, nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Daryl Bailey and Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the Clarketown Cemetery. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday will be: Curtis Berry, Timothy Berry, Gary Milton, James Milton, Jeff Johnson and Timmy Berry. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday to go to the cemetery.
