William “Coty” Sparks, 34, passed away on October 26, 2026 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on July 05, 1992 and raised in Elizabethton, TN. He attended Happy Valley Elementary School and graduated from Unaka High School in 2010. He loved spending time with his daughter, family and friends. He loved animals, football, fishing and working out, walking and listening to music. He was of the Christian Faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Patricia Sparks and Sue Hill. His aunt Carrol Ann Cloyd and Uncle Shawn Hill and his cousin Darren Scott.

He is survived by his daughter Kennedy Sparks; his father, Bill (Lisa) Sparks and his mother Sherry Hill. His brothers: James Murray, Seth Sparks; Stepsister; Ashley Wallace; Grandfather: Jim Hill (Donna); Aunts: Angie (B.J.) Colbaugh, Cindy (Brian) Christian, and Cathy (Todd) Vance; Uncle: Phillip (Cindy) Sparks. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
