William P. (Bill) Richardson,86, Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Franklin-Woods Hospital. He was born July 21, 1938 in Johnson City to the late Albert and Lena Jones Richardson. He was retired as a Maintenance Worker.. He loved working on Race Cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles and Lawrence Richardson. He was a member of Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Bonnie Osborne Richardson. One Daughter: Mary Ann Banks-Dunn, Damascus, Virginia. One Son: William C. Richardson, Johnson City. Two Step-Children: Amanda Burke Garrison and Bambi Fuller. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. One Sister: Glenda Edwards.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Bill, a loving husband, father and grandfather will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rodney Deyton officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakes Cemetery, Roan Mountain. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
