William Ernest Potter, 92, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023. He was a native of Carter County. He was a son of the late William Ernest Hicks and Maude Potter Vest. He was owner of William Potter Roofing. He loved to work and go hiking. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father and most of all a loving Popa to his buddy, Zack.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years: Phyllis Lowe Potter. A Son & Daughter-in-Law: Bill & Mellissa Potter. One Grandson: Zackary Potter. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews.

Private Family Services will be Tuesday with Pastor Greg Key officiating. Interment will be in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
