William Neal “Bill” Harmon, of Kingsport, born on October 5, 1954 to M.F. Harmon, Jr and Beatrice Greene Harmon, passed from this life on to be with the Lord on Monday, July 27, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. He grew up in Johnson City and was a 1972 gradate of Science Hill High School. For many years he lived in the Kingsport area. Bill Retired from the TPI Corporation working in the machine shop for over 30 years. Bill was a very loyal and loving friend to many. He loved his Harley Motorcycle. He loved riding with his “Harley Buddies”, Spike, Demo and Jerry and many others throughout the years. In the past they had made many trips covering all the eastern states along with going into Canada. Bill also had a loved for music. Played in many bands while living in Johnson City. He was a very gifted musician playing the bass, drums, guitar, and key board.
Bill is predeceased by his loving wife, Kathy, his parents: M.F. Harmon, Jr. and Beatrice Harmon, his brother M.F. Harmon III (Sunny), sisters: Bea Seelig and Fran Cameron, and nephew Jerome Harmon.
He is survived by his Nephews: Jeff Harmon (Teresa), Joey Harmon, Mike Cameron, nieces, Vickie, Jeanine, Sarah and Lynna. Brothers-In-Law: Jimmy Horton and Frank Cameron.
Graveside Service will be held 12 Noon, Friday, July 31, 2026 at Roselawn Memory Gardens on South Roan St., Johnson City. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
A special thank you to his neighbors, Sue, and Michael and to Skylar and Nikki and especially Ms. Daisey. Also to the Holston Valley ICU Nursing Staff and the Bristol Regional “Select” Nursing Staff for their attentive care.
