Wanda Gay Smith Witcher, 72, Bristol, Tenn. Passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 in The Waters of Bristol. She was born October 4, 1950 to the late Marshall Smith, Jr. and Jeanette Burleson Smith. She was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. Wanda was a CNA at Pine Ridge Health Care.she retired 10 years ago. She was a member of Bidleman Presbyterian Church, Bristol. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society of Bristol, The Senior Citizens of Douglas School, Bristol, Va. And the Woodmen of The World, Bristol, Va.

Survivors include her husband: Joe Witcher. A Daughter: Gloria South & husband Jesse South, Jr. A Brother: Eddie Smith and wife Mary Sharon. One Sister: Judy Murray. Two Nieces: Mary Ann Smith and Revonda Strebeck & husband Frank. A Great niece: Emily Grace Smith.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic Section) with Pastor Gary Cole officiating. Music will be provided by the Southern Harmony Quartett and the Red Hat Society. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. James H. Schrenker and Dr. Shonna Morenings. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday.
