Wanda Muriel Williams Laws, 85, Elizabethton, went home to be with Jesus, Monday, October 6, 2025, at Hillview Health Care Center in Elizabethton. A native of Dunmor, Kentucky (Muhlenberg County). She was a daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Era Amy Heltshey Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Millard I. Laws, and two sons-in-law: John Ruehl and Tom Hay and so many family members that they are having a Heavenly Family Reunion.

Wanda lived in Kentucky till 1950, In Indiana 1950-1984, Roan Mountain, Tennessee from 1984-2008 and Elizabethton 2008-2025. She loved God, Family, Children and friends. Children were her world. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting and sewing. Wanda was a member of Hampton Christian Church.

Survivors include one Son: Douglas Ivern (Marcella) Laws, DeMotte, Indiana, Four Daughters: Rhonda Kay (Donald) Bowen, Clearwater, Florida, Tammy Lynn Ruehl, Elizabethton, Terri Dawn Hay, Elizabethton, Melanie Sue (JD) McClain, Roan Mountain. 15 Grandchildren and well blessed with many great grandchildren.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Wanda will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Dwayne Calhoun Minister officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Elizabethton. Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Her Church Family.
