Vicky Lynn Lovelace, 60, Johnson City passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her residence after a brief illness. A native of Dearborn, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Earl & Emily Mull Wooten. She had lived in Tennessee since 1980. Vicky was a 1999 graduate of the School of Nursing, East Tennessee State University. She had worked at various Nursing Homes and her last work was at Woodridge. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Lovelace, September 11, 2002, by two brothers; Michael Carl Wooten and Dennis Allen Wooten and a sister: Betsy Spisak.
Survivors include a daughter: Lisa Lovelace of the home, a son: Michael Lovelace and Susan Torres, Johnson City. 8 Grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Two Sisters: Linda Hamblen and Judy Merritt and Two Brothers: Richard Wooten and David Wooten. Several nieces & nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Vicky Lovelace will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 in Hopwood Christian Church with the Rev. Greg Lovelace officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Vicky to Amedysis Hospice, 167 Hudson Drive, Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643.
