Tommy Jack Milhorn, Sr., 94, Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord Thursday, August 27, 2026 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born July 11, 1932 in Butler. He attended Watauga Academy and graduate from Hampton High School. He served in the United States Air Force. He was retired from Unysis. Tom was a former Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Youth Leader at Oak Street Baptist Church. He was a former member of Hampton Masonic Lodge. He loved fishing on Watauga Lake with Jim Synder and Chris, loved Gardening and most of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Herbert, Paul, R.H., Jim, Wylie, Harold and Bill and his grandchild: Joshua.

Left to Cherish his memory is his wife of 69 Years Lois Matherly Milhorn. Three Children: Tommy (Cindy) Jim (Missi) and Angie. Five Grandchildren:

Chris, Weston, Levi, Rachael, and Sarah. 12 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Tom Will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2026 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jack Greenoe officiating. Interment will follow in Butler Memorial Cemetery. Music will be provided by Patsy Lyons, Pianist and Tommy Milhorn, Jr. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Amedisys Hospice Brighter Days caregiving and VA Hospital.
