ELIZABETHTON – Timothy "Tim" Ray Pierce, 58, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Johnson City Medical Center.

Tim was a lifelong resident of Carter County and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and a wonderful grandfather and friend who will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Pierce; sister, Kathy Benfield; special brother-in-law, David Ault.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 40+ years, Mary Katherine Pierce; daughters, Moranda Stewart (Joseph), Rozalyn Oliver (Jake Tenney), and Jessica Pierce; grandchildren, Jazelle Stewart, Hailey Presnell, and Taylor Pierce; special sister-in-laws, Peggy McDuffie and Linda Ault; special brother-in-laws, Timothy Carr, Wayne McDuffie, Ed McDuffie, and Jambo McDuffie; several nieces and nephews.
