Timothy Shane Hicks, 49, Elizabethton, entered into his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born September 5, 1974 in Elizabethton. He was a graduate of Cloudland High School. He was the store manager for Big Lots, Elizabethton. He loved drag racing and loved to go to car shows. He was preceded in death by his father: Elmer Hicks.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years: Deann  Collins Hicks and their two Children: Conner Hicks and Cydney Hicks, both of the home  His Mother: Johne Birchfield Hicks. One Brother: Scott Hicks. His Grandparents: RL & Cheryl Miller,  His Nephews: Cory Hicks, Bret Hicks, Brindon Hicks, Cayden Cordell and Danny Cordell, Jr., One Niece: Kyndal Cordell

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 in the Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Young officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson-Roan View Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Conner Hicks , Cayden Cordell, Danny Cordell, Jason Lamier, Andy Montgomery, Byron Miller, Scott Hicks, Corey Hicks, Brett Hicks and Elliott Welch. Honorary Pallbearers will be: R.L. Miller, Danny Cordell, Sr. and Danny Avery. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Carter County EMS and the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
