Terry Lee Taylor, 63, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Terry was born April 19, 1963 in Carter County to the late Junior Lee & Nila Marie Arnold Taylor. He was a graduate of Unaka High School. He was a Mechanic and Truck Driver.. He loved moving boats and farming. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include One Brother: Jeff Taylor. One Sister: Inez Goodwin. One Niece: Sara Goodwin and Danielle Buck, who he loved like a daughter. His two favorite buddies “Hamilton” & “Bella”. His special friends: Teresa Nidiffer, Burless Estep, Tammy and David Birchfield, Glen & Debbie Maney, Cathy Arnold and many more special friends.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2026 in the Garland Cemetery with Pastor Harry C. Arnold officiating. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday will be: Brandon Blevins, Bradley Mizzell, Eddie Spears, Eli Blevins, John Papantonio, and Aaron Saylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rick Arnold, Glen Maney, David Birchfield, Denver Campbell, Wayne Sams, Guy Allen, David Grindstaff, Carl Nidiffer, Daniel Nidiffer, Tony Green, Gerald Brown and Gary Raider.
