Sylvia Guy Garland, 59, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at her residence. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie & JoAnn Buckles Guy. She was a homemaker. Sylvia loved gardening and loved animals.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years: Richard Garland. Two Sons: John Garland & wife Lisa and Joseph Garland & wife Jeanne. One Granddaughter: Gloria Garland. Four Brothers: Bobby, Jeff, Mike and Gary Guy. Her dogs: Mia and Blue

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2023 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jerry Davis officiating.
