Steven "Steve" Allen Stout, 67, of Elizabethton, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, peacefully at  home( 226 Chamber Dr ) in his
sleep.
Steve was born June 24, 1955. He was the son of the late Harry and Ester Stout. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and
friend. Steve cherished all the moments with his family, like playing with the kids, going camping and having cookouts. He was well known for his integrity, commitment, and passion. Steve was a former employee of North American Rayon, where he had worked for over 15 years. Also, the previous owner of Stout's Painting & Remodeling,Stout's Home Improvement and River Bend Campground. He enjoyed basketball, softball, and golf. He loved spending time with his number one girl Serenity "Poppy's Lovey", who gave him that get up and go he needed. Steve just loved the simple things in life, spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish his wonderful memories are his loving wife of 33 years, Elizabeth Stout "Libby"; his two sons: Dylan Storie and his wife Mikaela, Logan Storie; Grandchildren: Skyler, Serenity, and Corbin.

To honor the memory of Steve, a Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 4pm-6pm at Harmony Baptist
Church, 130 Keenburg Rd, Elizabethton. We will be receiving friends from 4pm-5pm and the service will begin at 5pm. Friends and family are invited to gather with the family at the home after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Funeral Chapel, 212 N. Main Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
