Stephanie Ann Vannoy Scalf, 60, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 in the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1963 in Johnson City to the late John William Vannoy, Jr. & Grace Elizabeth Dean Vannoy. She was formerly employed in the Environmental Services at Asbury Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Kyle William Vannoy. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her husband: Scotty Scalf, two sons: Jerry (Mary) James and Jeremy Hall. Her twin brother: Steven Brian (Beverly) Vannoy, Two sisters: Marilyn V. Brown, and Carol Lynn (Darrell) Adams. Six Grandchildren, one niece, and several nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Tim Gouge officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Music will be by Teresa Range. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Doctors and Nursing Staff at University of Tennessee Medical Center Neuro Critical Care. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:20 p.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
