Stacey Clinton Carden,80, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 in the Hermitage Health Center. He was born December 13, 1945 in Elizabethton to the late Ira “Con” and Nancy “Caroline” Livingston Carden. He was in the Construction Business. He was of the Christian Faith. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: James “Woody” Carden, Paul Carden and Brenda Crosswhite.

Survivors include his Daughter: Michelle Taylor, Elizabethton, a son: Stacey Carden II and wife Janice, San Antonio, Texas. His Grandchildren: Andrew Taylor, Elizabethton, Gabriel Taylor and wife Tiffani, Pensacola, Florida, Caitlin Carden, San Antonio, Texas, Cydnee Carden, San Antonio, Texas and Maci Clark, San Antonio, Texas. His Great Grandchildren: Elliana Khan, and Zaiden Khan both of Pensacola, Florida. His Brothers: Bill Carden and wife Kandy and George Carden and wife Anna. His special friends: Kem Richardson and Jerry Caden.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2026 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with Chaplain Chris Hughes officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Military Honors will be provided. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Friday.
