Shirley Ann Crow Matheson, 84, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born June 24, 1941, in Hampton to the late Ernest & Mae Bennett Crow. Shirley was a graduate of Hampton High School. She had been a beautician for several years. She loved shopping, listening to music, playing the piano and the accordion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her siblings: Jane Calhoun, Marie Perry, Howard Crow, Carl Crow, Alfred Crow, Florence Robinett, Jim Crow and Edith Keplinger.

Survivors include her son: James (Susan) Matheson and her daughter: Tammy Matheson and her fiance Gene Austin and One Brother: Harry "B" (Patsy) Crow, a Great- God Daughter: Heather Culler and Step-Grandsons: Josh Austin (Haley), Lucas and Jed (Jennifer) Conerly. Several nieces and nephews. Also, her four-legged buddy, her cat "Precious".

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Campbell officiating.
