Shirley Faye Kyte, 90, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at her residence. She was born July 25, 1935, in Jonesborough, TN. To the late Walter P. and Ruby Ball Crow. She had lived most of her life in Elizabethton. She was a 1954 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She loved sewing and loved to go shopping. Shirley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James W. Kyte, an infant son Michael, three brothers: Sam, Dennis and Fred Crow and a niece: Kim Russum.

Survivors include Two Children: Bryan (Nancy) Kyte and Sebrina (Keith) Love. One Grandson: Kody Love. Two Sisters: Betty (Paul) Stout and Nancy Williams (Ron) Hodge; A Sister-In-Law; June Crow. Several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Gary Roe officiating. The family would like to express a special thank you to June Crow Nancy Williams Hodge and Bobby & Connie Collins for all their support during her illness.
