Shirley Beatrice Davis Perkins, 85, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Hicks Davis & Mary Stout Willis. She was the beloved grand daughter of Lincoln Stout and Mattie Stout Gray. Shirley was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a retired Nursing Assistant at the Carter County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Watauga Flats Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Perkins and a grandson: Tanner Lee Perkins.

Survivors include her Children: Rebecca Darlene Perkins, Elizabethton, India Lynn Powell & Husband Mike of Johnson City, Roger Lee Perkins & wife Kim, Benjamin Perkins and Elonza Perkins, all of Elizabethton. Two Grandchildren: Whitney Lyn Powell and Michael Lee Powell. Her four-legged, furry friend Baby Doll. A special niece and nephew, Janie and Eddie Sams.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Lester Guinn officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Sons: Roger Perkins, Benjamin Perkins, Elonza Perkins Special Friend: David Tolley, Grandson: Michael Powell and Son-in-Law: Mike Powell.
