Sherry DeEtta Allen, 67, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Robert & Lula Belle Richardson Holder. She was a homemaker. She loved to Sew. She was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Mitchell Lee Allen, July 8, 2024 and a brother: Terry Holder.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years: Clabe Allen. Three Children: Melissa Carr (Michael), Victoria Davis and Jordan Allen. 16 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. One Brother: Jerry Holder. One Uncle: James Richardson.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 in the Estep Cemetery (Lick Branch Rd.) with Mr. Bryan Carden officiating. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 2:15 p.m. Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
