**In Loving Memory of Shelvie Jean Ingram**
Jean, age 87, of Elizabethton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, cherished by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Roy Ingram; her loving parents, Mamie Davenport and Herman Davenport; and her brother, Kenneth Davenport.
She is survived by her daughters and their spouses: Sherry Curran (Steve) and Sandy Lewis (Phil Roberts). She also lives on through her grandchildren: Michelle Awad (Thomas Keller), Chris Lewis (Laura Leigh), and Jennifer Romascavage (Gary), and her great-grandson, Sammy Goode. She also leaves behind her loving sisters and their spouses: Brenda Holdren (Charlie), Bobbie Bullock (Bob), and Tina Tolbert (Thorson), along with numerous nieces and nephews who will always remember her kindness and warmth.
Jean found joy in travel with her family, quiet walks outdoors and soaking in the sun on a pretty afternoon on her patio. She was a dedicated member of Valley Forge Christian Church, where her faith was a source of strength and comfort. She retired from Siemens Industrial Automation, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and integrity.
She will be deeply missed by her family and all who were fortunate to know her. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2024 with David Siebenaler, Minister officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace Happy Valley Memorial Cemetery. Music will be provided by Jerry Barnett. Active Pallbearers will be: Phil Roberts, Thomas Keller, Gary Romascavage, Rick Holdren, Chris Lewis and Tim Holdren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, Tenn. 38105-9959 or Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605-4255. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home prior to the service.
