Shelby Jean Guinn 79 born on February 8, 1945 met Jesus face to face on November 10th, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Shelby was born in Toledo Ohio. She resided in Watauga TN where she built an extraordinary life.
She was preceded in death By her parents, Frank and Delia Arquette, 19 siblings, several friends, nephew David Brown, her daughter Melinda, her great grandson, Aiden and her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Charles Guinn Sr.
She is survived by her sons Charles Guinn Jr. (Goo) and Pat, Robbie Guinn and Carolyn. Daughters Michelle Simpson and Phillip, Paula Smith and Howie, Delia Moon and Robert. Her grandsons Joshua Lovette and Asia, Roy Dean Simpson and Amanda, Travis Constable and Deidre, Charles Lee Guinn and Julie, Austin Smith. Her granddaughters Amanda Knight and Aaron, Danielle Newman and Jabin, Melinda Smith, Milli Pierce. Great Grandchildren Colton, Sierra, Lexi, Travis, and Peyton Constable, Trenton, Eli, Savannah, Aliyah, Neyland and Maddux Knight, Temperance and Leland Lovette, Lilly Guinn, and Christopher Simpson. Special niece and nephew Sandra and Ricky who she loved as her own. Very special friend, Mamaw Pierce who has been more like a sister.
Shelby loved her family fiercely and The Lord above all. She worked alongside her husband who built their family business that still runs today. She served as a Pastors wife for more than twenty years. She was the epitome of a Godly woman who shared Christ with everyone. She's leaving a legacy behind. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Aaron Knight and Rev. Travis Constable officiating. Music will be provided by Linda Knight and Deidre Constable. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site
