Sarah Oliver Blevins, 94, Elizabethton passed away on May 8, 2026 at her home with family by her side. A native of Elizabethton, Sarah was born on February 19, 1932 to the late Jacob and Eva Pierce Oliver. Sarah retired from the James H. Quillen Veteran’s Hospital in 1997 and again in 2021 from Signature Health Care of Elizabethton. Sarah was a member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Blevins, a son, Michael Campbell, a grandson, Jacob Wayne Campbell and five brothers: James, Paul, Joe, John and Wayne Oliver, five sisters: Elsie Arnold, Bertha Pea, Faye Dugger, Marie and Ruth Oliver.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter Teresa (Doug) Stucker, Her daughter-in-law, Betty Lou Campbell, three grandchildren: Amy (Jemina) Campbell, Cody (Christina) Stucker, Megan (Mike) Stucker, special friend, Stephanie Pierce. Three great grandchildren: Sarah Cox, Jackson and Evan Stucker. Two sisters: Onie (Ray) Williams and Hazel Casey and Sisters-in-law: Pauline and Sheila Oliver and Sheila Blevins Hardin. A special friend Debbie Street and Several Nieces and Nephews.
A service for Sarah will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bryan Smith, officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be Garland Cemetery following the service. Active Pallbearers will be Terry Morris, Jr, Terry Morris, Sr., Dwayne Batich, Shannon Carrier, Jimmy Fulton and Mike Cox. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ralph Stucker, Bruce Gouge, Kenneth Hammet, Kieth Bowers, Jr., Dr. Jonathon Bremmer, all nephews and the Ladies Class of Lynn Valley Baptist Church. Special thanks to Amedysis Hospice and the Doctors and Staff of Quillen oncology. In lieu of flowers donations to be made to the building fund at Lynn Valley Baptist Church.
