Sandra Leigh Vestal Stout, 58, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Preston & Janie Stout Vestal. She was a graduate of Hampton High School. Sandra was a CNA, having worked as a care giver for several places. She loved her family and was involved with them in a lot of their activities. She loved swimming and true crime documentaries. She was a member of Beck Mountain Baptist Church. She would do anything she could for anyone. She was such a caring and giving person.

Survivors include her husband: Roger Stout. Three children: Chris (BJ) Vestal, Hampton, Summer (Michael) Melson of Indiana and Sonia Hale, Kingsport. Fourteen Grandchildren: Taylor, AJ, Nevaeh, Preston, Chloe, Charity, Gloria, Dylan, Jermiah, Logan, Zac, Gracelyn, Avery, and Junie. Four Step-Children: Kari, Natasha, Brandon and Johnny Stout. One Sister: Diane McKinney.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
