Sandra Gail Presnell, 81, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at her residence. She was born October 26, 1944 in Mountain City to the late James Guinn and Pauline Proffitt Robinson. She had lived in Carter County for a number of years. She was a homemaker. She loved Collecting Glass ware and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Grandson: Adam Presnell, Four Sisters: Carolyn McDaniel, Lena Brewer, Darlene Harris and Donna Robinson and Two Brothers: Randy and Gary Robinson.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years: George Presnell. Five Children: Mike (Nicole) Presnell, Tony (Julie) Presnell, Angie (Mark) Simerly, George Presnell, Jr. and John Presnell. 14, Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren and one on the way. Five Sisters: Brenda Guinn, Frances Holly, Mozetta Norris, Paulette Grindstaff and Lisa Taylor. Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026 in the Proffitt Cemetery, Mountain City. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
