Sally Fay Ward Hutson, 78, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at her residence. She was born March 14, 1947 in Johnson City to the late Daniel Alexander & Clara Clemons Ward. She was a graduate of Mary Hughes High School. She was a seamstress, loved dealing in crafts and loved to sew. She was a member of East Side Free Will Baptist Church, where she loved to help in Vacation Bible School with her crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Roger Hutson,  a brother: Herman Ward and four sisters: Louise Millsaps, Dokie Townsend, Pat Tester and Helen Hicks.

Survivors include her children: Michelle Jenkins & husband Jeff , Daniel Byrd and wife Yvonne. Three Grandchildren: Athena Byrd, Beth Mallard and husband David and Scott Byrd. One very special great granddaughter: Brianna Marie Mallard. Two Brothers: Ed ward and Jack Ward and wife Jackie. Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday , April 18, 2025 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Pastor Justin Deaton and Pastor Jack Ward officiating .Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
