Ruby F. Ensor, 81, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday October 5, 2025 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born October 12, 1943 in Carter County to the late Dan & Velma Estep Fortner. She was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. She loved taking care of her pets. She was a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennie Ensor who passed away September 7, 2023 and by three sisters: Effie Ward, Hazel Rader and Georgia Moore.

Survivors include her sons: John (Robin) Ensor and Donald  (Stephanie) Ensor. Five Grandchildren: Brandi & Chris, Davy, Daniel & Cloe, Madison & Nick and Macy & Travis. One Great Granddaughter: Allie Jenee, One Great Grandson: Dennie Lee Ensor. One Brother; George Fortner and wife Lucy. Several nieces & nephews.

It was her wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
