Roy Junior Tolley, 72, Unicoi, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Robert & Berdie Grindstaff Tolley. He was a retired roofer, having worked for Floyd Storie for several years. In his spare time, he loved to fish. He was of the Free Will Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Katherine Lewis and her husband Scotty, a brother: Charles Tolley and three brothers-in-law: Conley Miller, Jerry Storie and Elmer Roberts.
Survivors include his son: Keevin (Odessa) Tolley. Six Grandchildren: Isaac Paul Snapp, Sierra Jordan Kimbro, Elijah Aaron Snapp, Rain Beau Tolley, Sage Canyon Tolley and Ariyah Iris Tolley. Several great grandchildren. Five Sisters: Pat Miller, Gail Storie, Joyce (Charles) Arnett, Dorothy Roberts and Linda Sliger. A Sister-In-Law: Charlotte Tolley. Several nieces and nephews. His two four legged buddies: Lou Lou and Jo Jo.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gary Whitehead officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Music will be by Beth Stevens. Graveside Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025, in the Tolley Cemetery, Limestone Cove. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 12:50 p.m. Sunday will be: Jacob Kimbro, Rain Tolley, Saige Tolley, Isaac Snapp, Charlie Arnett and James Light. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 12:50 p.m. Sunday. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
