Ronald Lewis "Ronnie" Heaton, 72, saw Jesus face to face on the afternoon of Thursday, August 28, 2025. Ronnie was born on September 12, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland to Dorothy Mitchell Heaton and the late Tip Heaton.

Ronnie was a graduate of Cloudland High School. He retired from Decanter Mechanic as a Millwright and shop foreman.

He was a member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Ronnie loved his church and the Praise Choir.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tip Lewis Heaton, his brother: Jerry Keith Heaton and his in-laws: Wayne and Ruth Peters.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 54 years: Judy Peters Heaton, His Mother; Dorothy Mitchell Heaton, His Children: Gwendolyn Winters (Bill), and James Heaton (Dina), His Grandchildren: Dustin Winters, Jacob Winters (Aria), Thomas Heaton and Grace Heaton. His Brother: Robert Heaton (Sherri). A special nephew: Alex Heaton, sister-in-law: Donna Heaton and  special friends: Darrell and Cinda Byrd and their entire family. His precious baby pup "Sadie Blu".

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2025 in the Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Johnson, Pastor Mark Potter and Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating. Music will be provided by the Praise Choir and Loren Harris. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until the service hour at 6 p.m..
