Roland T. Reece, 72, Fish Springs Community, Hampton went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at his residence. Roland was born September 7, 1950 to the late M.B. & Frances Lewis Reece.

Roland loved gardening and telling tall tales to everyone he met. He especially loved spending time with his boys, Carson & Connor. He was a member of Elk Mills Baptist Church. He had Pastured two church, Fish Springs Baptist Church and Open Door Baptist Church, Mountain City.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife: Brenda Arnold Reece. His Daughter: DeAnna (Kenny) Clawson of Hampton. One Grandson: Adam (Renee) Clawson of Roan Mountain. The Pride of his life two great grandsons: Carson & Connor. Two Brothers: Terry Reece of Butler and V Roman (Renita), Fall Branch. Two Sisters: Carolyn (Tom) Kyte, Butler and Judy (JW) Shew, Johnson City. Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in the Nat Campbell Cemetery (Whaleytown Road), Butler with Pastor Toby Rainbolt officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers Steve & Betty McNeil, Gurney Ray Pilk, Margaret Campbell, Jill Gilbert and Terry Proffitt. The family will receive friends at the residence. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Tueday.
