Roger Thomas "Tom" Vaughn, Jr. 70, Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 06, 2023 in the Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born July 17, 1952 in Elizabethton, TN to the late Roger Thomas Vaughn Sr. and Ellen Campbell Vaughn. He was a member of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church, where he actively served as a deacon for 25 years. He was a 1970 graduate of Elizabethton High School. He retired from Pals in Johnson City Mall where he was the owner/operator for 21 years.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws: Robert Cecil and Cora Ellen Ensor, his sister-in-law Marie Oxendine and his brothers-in-law: Stanley, Raymond, Robert and C. Lee Ensor.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynda Kay Ensor Vaughn; sons, Roger Thomas "Tommy" Vaughn, III (Erin) and Kevin Sean Vaughn (Kristy); grandchildren: Roger Thomas (Tee) IV, Carter Robert, Jaxson Price, Callie Loy, Collin Gentry Vaughn, and a granddaughter by love Audrey Faith Holland: Brothers: Larry (Marzetta) and Mike (Bonnie); Sister-in-law: Ruby Ensor Corder and

Brothers-in-law: Howard (Jewel), Ernest Pete (Kathy); Nephews: Larry Ed Vaughn and Jeff Vaughn; Niece: Lisa Vaughn Perkins and other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Pleasant Beach Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Fowler and Pastor Bobby Stout, officiating. The Family will receive friends from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. prior to the service. Active Pallbearers are: Tommy Vaughn, III, Kevin Vaughn, Tee Vaughn, Carter Vaughn, Jaxson Vaughn, Collin Vaughn, Keith Lowe and Josh Lowe. Honorary Pallbearers are: Frank Perkins, Mike Doss, Nick McNeal, Brad Carroll, Ron Ramsey, Mike Peters and his Pleasant Beach Baptist Church Family and Deacons.
