Robin Ellen Kempton Phillips, 58, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abington, Virginia. She was born January 13, 1966 in Newport, New Hampshire to the late Clayton and Deborah Forrest Kempton. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Masters Degree. She taught Algebra at North East State Community College. Robin was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elizabethton Moose Lodge # 360 and the Elizabethton Elks Lodge. She loved to quilt, cook and fish.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years: William (Bill) Phillips. Two Children: Jeremy Archanbea of Elizabethton and Melissa Williams, Butler. Two Grandchildren: Logan Archanbea and Katie Williams. One Brother: Raymond Kempton. One Sister: Julie Sexton.

A Celebration of life Service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2024 in the Borderview Christian Church with Mr. Scott Fisher, Minister officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. It was her wish to be cremated and burial will be at Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date.
