Robert Clyde Howard, 83, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at his residence. He was born November 8, 1939 in Unicoi to the late Harley & Thelma Huskins Howard. He was retired in construction as a Dry Wall person. He loved camping, fishing and go ridding with his dog. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Harvey Howard, Sr. and a sister, Betty.

Survivors include four daughters: Mary Ellen Collier, Robin Ann Hedinger, Tammy Sue Burress and Christine Marie Howard. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. His Siblings: Harvey Howard,Jr, Ray Dean Howard, Brenda Harris, Carl Howard, Patsy Killion, Jimmy Howard, Marie Hammett and Dorothy Walls-Oliver. Several nieces and nephews. His four legged buddy: Clyde.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.,m. Friday, June 2, 2023 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Nathan Varnier officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Johnson City, family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m.. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
