Ricky Allen Turbyfield, 66, Butler, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 11, 1958 in Carter County. He was a graduate of Hampton High School. He was retired from the City of Elizabethton after 30 years of service. In earlier years he loved to go camping and go fishing at Wilbur Dam. He was preceded in death by his mother; Georgia Nell Turbyfield, February 9, 2023. He attended Little Milligan Baptist Church.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and  cousins including two special cousins: Gurney Pilk and Brandon Pilk. Also two special friends: Doug & Nelda Hatley.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025 in the Lakeview Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Campbell officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Friends may sign the register at the funeral home 12 noon until 5 p.m. Sunday or Monday morning. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Monday.
