Rebecca Dawn Vest, 43, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 at her residence. She was a Carter County native. She was employed at Captain D'S in Elizabethton. She loved spending time with her daughters and she loved animals. She was a member of the Bread of Life Church, Johnson City.

Survivors include her daughters: Michaiah Vest and Sophia Vest. Her Father: Roger Vest, her mother: Vickie Alexander. Three Sisters: Kim Pinnex, Melinda Fridley and Virgie Ojeda. Several nieces and nephew.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Greg Wagner officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Scalf Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
