Raymond "Ken" West, 68, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025 at the residence of his sister. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Raymond and Helen Shatley West. He was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. Ken was a retired Manager of Cheers Restaurants of Johnson City and Kingsport. He loved to fish and hunt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Marian Taylor. Ken was a member of First Christian Church of Elizabethton.

Survivors include his sisters: Carolyn Colbaugh, Katherine Eaton and Elaine Ruck, whom he made his home with. Several nieces and nephews. Also his four legged furry buddy "Molly".
