Raymond Lowe, 89, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in the Hermitage Health Center. He was born January 8, 1935 in Carter County to the late Earl & Halie Echols Lowe. He was a graduate of Unaka High School where he excelled in all sports and also attended East Tennessee State University. Raymond was a retired Truck Driver. He also loved farming. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Monty R. Lowe. Raymond was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton.

Survivors include his children: Sonja L. Holtsclaw, Richard E. Lowe, Noah B. Lowe and Joseph D. (Lisa) Lowe. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
