Our loving Mother Phyllis Ann Whittemore, 78, Erwin, a devoted Christian that loved her husband, children and grandchildren passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 at her residence. She was was born September 5, 1946 in Unicoi to the late John & Edith Campbell Sneed. She was also preceded in death by a son: Jimmy Lee. She loved working in her flowers and garden. She was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years: Garry Whittemore. Four Children: Julie, Shane (Chasity), Dawn (Ronnie) and Angel. Her Grandchildren: Alysha, Carson, Maddyson, Drew (Emily), Justin, Adam, Summer and Ronnie Jr. A Special Great Grandson: Case Lynn. One Brother: Wayne (Susie) Sneed, One Sister: Dorothy (Charles) Casey. and her special friends, Eula Casey, Lois Graybeal and Billy Brown.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2025 in the Mausoleum Chapel, Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Frazier and her son Shane Whittemore officiating. Burial will follow the service. Pallbeares will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at the Mausoleum at 12:50 p.m. Monday.
