Peggy Morris Grindstaff, 73, Elizabethton went to be with her Lord Sunday, May 4, 2025 at her residence. She was born August 15, 1951 in Carter County to the late Brady H & Erma Hardin Morris. She was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and the Tennessee Center for Applied Technology, the LPN Nursing program. Peggy was retired from ETSU Pediatrics. She was a member of Siam Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Terry L. Grindstaff who passed away April 29, 1996.

Survivors include her sons: Kevin (Trisha) Grindstaff and Kelly (Maicey) Grindstaff. Six Grandchildren: Chelsea Grindstaff, Joshua Stout, Terry Grindstaff, Lily Grindstaff, Isaiah Grindstaff and Nalaiah Grindstaff. Her special friends: Penny & Howel Carrico, Roger & Linda Hardin and Lisa Buck and her cat "Thor".

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Peggy will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2025 in the Siam Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Roddy and Rev. Brian Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in the Cleve Hardin Cemetery. Music will be provided by Mitzi Hobbs and Kelly Campbell. Active Pallbearers will be: Joshua Stout, Terry Grindstaff, Jeffery Hatley, Daniel Carrico, Sam Carrico, Hunter Pierson and Isaiah Grindstaff. Honorary Pallbearers will be Her Siam Baptist Church Family. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Shah, Dr. Jaishankar and Dr. Tongco for the excellent care she received during her illness.
