Peggy Foster Davis, 90, Elizabethton went to be with her Lord Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in the Ivy Hall Nursing Home. She was born January 28, 1933 in Elizabethton to the late Paul and Vada Stout Foster. She was a homemaker, loved reading and shopping. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and the Volunteer Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Howard Davis and a daughter: Teri Davis.

Survivors include her children: Melissa (Greg) Moreland, Elizabethton, Mike (Lois) Davis, Unicoi and Ron (Becky) Davis, Hartsville, Tenn. A Special Granddaughter: Tara Moreland. Six Grandsons: K.G., Joe, Scott, Gabe, Matt and Drew. Ten Great Grandchildren and Three Great Great Grandchildren. Her Sisters-In-Law: Bernice Davis and Jane Davis, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews. Her special street walking friend: Rozella Hardin.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Sam Ferguson officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Activity Department (Christmas Fund), Ivy Hall Nursing Home, 301 Watauga Avenue, Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Ivy Hall Nursing Home and her friends and neighbors for all the prayers, love and care shown to her.
