Paul Kenneth Dickison, 94, Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord, Friday, May 1, 2026 at his residence. He was born June 18, 1931 in Baker City, Oregon to the late Marcus Bensen & Olive Lee McConnell Dickison. He had served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired after 40 years as a Maintenance Supervisor with the Bergman Mfg. Co. in Garland, Texas. He had lived in Carter County for 27 years. Mr. Dickison was a member and Elder at Borderview Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Grandsons: Christopher Wade Dickison and Joshua Wade Dickison, one sister: Carrie Hudspeth and five brothers: Andrew, Wilson, James, Rodney and Wesley Dickison.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Nancy Rose Dickison. Three Sons: Ernest Wade (Kelly) Dickison, Russell Marcus (Chris Smith ) Dickison and Larry Neal (Christy) Dickison. Five Grandchildren: Paula Dawn (Andrew) Grzelka, Stephen Wade (Chelsea) Dickison, Thomas Wade Dickison, Karisse Rose Dickison and Callie Faith Dickison. Five Great Grandchildren: Anastasia, Connor, Eden, Elias and Evelyn.

A Graveside Service to Celebrate the life of Paul will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in the Wilson Cemetery with Mr. Scott Fisher, Minister officiating. Military Honors will be provided. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the neighbors on Greene Meadows Drive, his church family, the Amedisys Hospice Nurses and Felicia Watson for the support and prayers during his illness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Hwy., Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643.
