Pansy Darrell Watts

April 12, 1933 – August 13, 2024

Pansy Darrell Watts, 91, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at The Blake Assisted Living in Kingsport. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Will and Ethel Williams. Pansy was a faithful wife and loving mother, and wherever she went, she never met a stranger. She especially loved children, and that love was most evident any time she was around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Watts, two brothers, William "Buddy" Williams and Sherril "Bo" Williams, and two sisters, Marie "Bea" Richardson and Charlotte "Trick" Williams.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Shields (Mike) and Patricia "Tish" Burker (Gary), four grandchildren, Beth Cohen (Matt), Amy Magdziuk (Justin), Michael Shields (Daphne), Jamie White (Daniel), and nine great-grandchildren, Michelle Shields, Valoria Magdziuk, Samuel Cohen, Clyde Magdziuk, Adrianna White, Seth Cohen, Wyatt Magdziuk, Kambrie Shields, and Tristan White, two brothers, Wayne Williams and Lucian (Doc) Williams, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Rob Randolph officiating. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

The family would like to express their thanks to all of the nurses and caregivers at The Blake, as well as her hospice nurses, for all the love and care they provided during her stay.
