Odis Franklin Gibson 83, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1939 in St. Charles, Virginia to the late Homer and Mabel Phillips Gibson. He had lived in Maryland for a number of years where he worked on Dairy Farms. He moved to Elizabethton where he was employed at NARC for several years. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Agnes Austin and two brothers: Donald and Charles Gibson.

Survivors include three Children. Two Brothers: Carl and Johnny Gibson and two sisters: Christine Burleson and Anna Burkhart.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Johnson Roan View Cemetery, with Pastor Israel Hughes, offciating . Family and Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:50 p.m. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
