Norma Juanita Smith, 85, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026 in the Hillview Health Center. She was born September 8, 1941 in Elizabethton to the late Howard H. & Bessie Dugger Winters. Norma retired from the House keeping Department of the Life Care Center after 29 years of service. She loved being home with her family and friends and she loved to play bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Karen Smith and Debra Greenwell,, two sisters: Charlotte Nave and Pearl Fletcher and two brothers: Robert Winters and Kenneth Winters.

Survivors include her children: Trudy Hale, Calvin Smith and George Smith. Six Grandchildren: Shawn Dugger, Derrick Vines, April Snow White, Rusty White, Cody Greenwell and Chad Greenwell. Several great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026 in the Smith Cemetery, Butler with Pastor Harvey White officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
