Norma June Potter—Rash, 68, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her family and friends. She was born August 5, 1956 in Carter County. Norma was a 1974 graduate of Hampton High School and attended East Tennessee State University. She was a retired employee of P.S.G. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and a life time member of the VFW both in Florida. She loved to fish and travel. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her father: James O. Potter.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years: John A. Rash. Her Mother: Roberta Church Potter. One Sister: Sheila Young and husband James. One Niece: Kara Knipp and husband Derek. Two Great Nieces: Emila & Eleanor. Her Special friend: Sandra.

The family will receive friends at the residence, Thursday May 1, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Sycamore Shoals Hospital for the excellent care she received.
