Mitchell Lee Allen, 47, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at his residence. A native of Carter County, he was born June 26, 1977. He loved to work in Restaurants, prior to his illness, he had worked at Arby's and Mayflower. He loved to fish and work on cars. He was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: April Dingus Allen. Two Children: Alexis Allen and Gage Allen, Two Step-Children: Micheal Herrin and Haley Roark Three Grandchildren: Riah Rish, Hudson Rish and Alana Allen and friend Josh Cochran. His Parents: Clabe and Sherry Holder Allen. Two Sisters: Melissa Carr (Michael), and Victoria Davis One Brother: Jordan Allen.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 12 Noon, Monday, July15, 2024 in the Estep Cemetery (Lick Branch Rd.) with Mr. Bryan Carden officiating. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. Monday will be: Micheal Herrin, Gage Allen, Josh Cochran, Isaiah Davis, Dana Carden and Patrick Carden. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jerry Holder, Logan Carrier and Dylan Carrier.  Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
