Miranda Lovada Roskie, 43, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born October 15, 1982 in Johnson City. She was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. She was a CNA Nursing Assistant. She loved Art, Painting and playing the Piano. She was preceded in death by her mother: Margaret Presnell Akers and two brothers: Ronald and Donald Akers. She was a member of Milligan Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter: Kayla Roskie, A Step-Daughter: Devany Ashby, Her Father: Donald Akers and a brother: George Akers.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2025 in the Markland Cemetery, Roan Mountain with her uncle Rev. Dean Presnell officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Monday.
