Melissa Elizabeth Farr, 58, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at her residence. She was a native of Carthage, New York and a graduate of Carthage Central High School. She's the daughter of Donna and the late Gerald Williams.

Melissa was retired and enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her seven grandsons. She was a member of Fellowship Community Church. Melissa is preceded in death by her father, Gerald, baby brother Timmy and her grams, Mildred Hamilton.

She is survived by her wonderful husband, Charles, her mother, Donna, her sister: Jerilyn (Chris) Williams-Long, nieces: Jeara & Thea. Her Daughters: Beth (Zach) Sweeney, and Jodee (Ernie) Berry and Her son: Caleb (Morgan) Durant and her grandsons: Chase, Jacob, Knox Durant, Jaxon & Jordan Berry; and Ethan & Connor Sweeney.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Fellowship Community Church in Watauga with Pastor Paul Grapes and Deacon Richard Sweeney presiding. Memorials may be made in the form of donations to her beloved Church, Fellowship Community Church, 430 4th Ave, Watauga, Tenn.,37694.
