Maxine Jones Holden, 85, Elizabethton, passed away on February 03, 2023 at the Life Care Center of Elizabethton. She was born in Avery County, North Carolina to the late Rondia and Retha Cook Jones. She retired from Baxter Lab. She enjoyed puzzles, sewing and flowers. She was a member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Elk Park, NC. In addition, to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Holden and four sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are Shelia Cook, daughter of Elizabethton and Paul (Barbara) Glen Holden, son of Spruce Pine, NC, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, four sisters: Glenda Winters, Brenda Goforth, Kathy Stout, and Gail Ruppard.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery, with Mr. George Heaton, officiating.
