Mary Belle Hood Holt, 92, Johnson City, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was born March 30, 1931 to the late Herbert H. & Vicey Morrell Hood. She was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. She was retired as an Executive Secretary, with Dr. William Browder after 20 years of service at Quillen College of Medicine. She served as a Chaplain at the Johnson City Medical Center for several years. She loved walking and also reading her Bible. Mary Belle was a very active member of Hopwood Christian Church and was involved with the youth of the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Don Hood and Herbert Hood.

She is survived by four children: Jeff (Amanda) Holt, Joe (Tina) Holt, Chris (Pam) Holt and Marti (Criss) Cook. 12 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. Two Sisters: Jimmie Ruth Bailey and Billie (Mike) Peters. Numerous nieces and nephews. Also a special friend: Sherry Crouch.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Hopwood Christian Church with Pastor Benjamin Lee officiating.
